IdroGeo Engineering & Consulting was established in February 2001 with the aim of making a series of complete services available to customers in the field of environmental engineering, hydrogeology, hydrology and hydraulic engineering, geology, geotechnics, environmental geology and site decontamination.

The company has 6 senior geologists specialising in the geology sectors applied to engineering, geothermics and hydrogeology with extensive know-how in thermal and geothermal resource research.

Before creating IdroGeo, the founding members had gained over 20 years’ professional and business experience.

IdroGeo Engineering & Consulting is a member of A.N.I.P.A. (Italian National Association for Water Well Companies), U.G.I. (Italian Geothermics Union), a founder member of the Italian Geothermics Network and is among the founder members of the Italian Technology Platform for Geothermal Energy (Confindustria). It participates in two European projects for the development of geothermal energy (GEOELEC - KP7) and GEOENVI and a HORIZON-2020 project, SOTACARBO FAULT LAB for THE GEOCAPTURE OF CO2 and is also a member and founding partner of A.P.E. (Association of Technical Experts to the Court of Florence)
The company is one of the promoters, also providing teaching staff, for the Master’s Degree in Green Economy Management of the Moccia Group - La Sapienza University, Rome - Hudson Technologies, in specific reference to the geothermal energy and district heating sectors.

It provided teaching staff for the 2019 Green Economy Master’s Degree at La Sapienza University, Rome, in specific reference to the geothermal energy and district heating sectors.

It is among the regular speakers at ECOFUTURO Padua on geothermal district heating and zero-emissions geothermal energy production and total reintroduction.

At present, IdroGeo Engineering & Consulting is positioned in the Italian panorama and is expanding its partnerships to the international sphere, maintaining its operating spirit and offering complete, highly specialised services.
